KP Fértil is an agricultural input taken directly from nature, that doesn’t go through any processes or chemical transformations; it has macronutrients (phosphorus, potassium, calcium and magnesium) and micronutrients (Si, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni and other traits) in its composition, which are essential and fundamental for the growth of plants and crops and for helping with maintaining and restoring soil fertility.
Fazenda São Bartholomeu is our experimental farm where we carry out tests and display the benefits of using KP Fértil. Our objective is to produce certain crops with the use of KP Fértil, applying it for different purposes, whether to adjust phosphorus and potassium doses, replace liming or increase base saturation. Currently, we have under cultivation 1.3ha of sugar cane, 1ha of Arabica coffee and 1ha dedicated to the cultivation of grains (soybean/corn). All the production from the farm is reverted for internal use, whether for feeding the farm’s cattle, such as sugarcane and corn silage, for example, or to package coffee to give as gifts to clients and collaborators – our first coffee harvest generated a quality coffee of 85 points
We rake pride of being able to cultivate within our property, so that our clients and collaborators can visit the area and monitor the development of our crops.
Application of KP Fertil aiming at fertilizing the system and increasing base saturation (V%) to ~70%. KP Fértil was applied to a full-area haul and incorporated with a leveling grid.
KP Fértil was used to replace liming and as a source of P and K. Planting of billets was carried out in furrows, with application of KP Fértil and organic compost.
Use of Fertil KP as a total source of P and K in the fertilization of the coffee tree in furrows and the addition of organic compost. Annual applications of KP Fértil are carried out with Lancer, close to the base of the coffee tree.
